Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Hackney Marshes and the River Lea
A peaceful loop through East London’s wild green spaces. Start near the Olympic Park, ride through Hackney and Walthamstow Marshes, cross the river Lea by Springfield Park, the return south along the western bank. Pass through the Middlesex Filter Beds Nature Reserve and follow the canal back into the marshes.

Limehouse Basin & the waterways
Follow the River Lea south past historic Three Mills, the join the Limehouse Cut down to the beautiful Limehouse Basin. Take a hidden detour for a secret view of the Thame, then loop back along the Regent’s Canal, passing Mile End Park. Ride east on the Hertford Union Canal beside Victoria Park to close the loop.
